Horizon’s Gate is scheduled to be released in less than an hour. It is the newest tactical RPG from Rad Codex, developer of Voidspire Tactics and Alvora Tactics. Horizon’s Gate promises a sprawling world with battles on land and sea, an impressive 34 classes (Alvora Tactics had 23), and all the freeform environmental manipulation you could ask for.
Alvora Tactics and Voidspire Tactics remain among my favorite tactics games of all time I fully expect the same to hold true for Horizon’s Gate as their spiritual successor.
